    CREDIT INFORMATION

    This seminar is open to the public and offers a non-mandatory CLE opportunity
    to Massachusetts attorneys. It provides continuing education credit to accountants
    and certified financial planners.

    The Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy accepts courses from
    providers that are members of NASBA’s National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Foxmoor
    Continuing Education, a division of HalfMoon Education, is registered with the
    National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of
    continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. This
    intermediate-level course offers 7.5 CPE hours in the field of specialized knowledge.
    A basic understanding of MassHealth is recommended, and no advanced preparation
    is necessary. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of
    individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be
    submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website:
    www.learningmarket.org. Sponsor No. 103015.

    Foxmoor Continuing Education, a division of HalfMoon Education Inc., is a
    CFP Board-registered continuing education sponsor. The Certified Financial Planner
    Board of Standards, Inc. has granted 7.5 hours of continuing education credit for the
    completion of this seminar.

    HalfMoon Education is certified by the New York State CLE Board as an
    Accredited Provider of CLE programs. This traditional format course offers 7.5
    CLE hours, consisting 7.5 Areas of Professional Practice hours suitable to new and
    experienced attorneys.

    Course approval for paralegals is applied for and pending from NALA and NFPA.

    Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available
    after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance
    certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen
    business days.

    Speaker Biographies

    WILLIAM J BRISK
    ESQ , LAW OFFICE OF W J BRISK

    William J. Brisk graduated from Brown University, he received his law degree from
    New York University, and he obtained a Ph.D. degree in Latin American politics from Johns
    Hopkins University. Mr. Brisk is the principal author of Lexis/Nexis’ Massachusetts Elder
    Law and, until recently, was Editor-in-chief of the NAELA Journal which has published a
    number of his articles. He is an adjunct professor at Suffolk Law School teaching courses
    in elder law and end-of-life care.

    Both Harry Margolis and Bill Brisk have been recognized as Fellows of the National
    Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and both have served on NAELA’s national board. Both
    have presided over the Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA (Harry as its founding president),
    and both have been named SuperLawyers since that designation was established in
    Massachusetts in 2006. They have presented this annual program since 2000 and speak
    regularly to national as well as local audiences – both professional and general.

    HARRY S MARGOLIS
    ESQ , MARGOLIS & BLOOM

    Harry S. Margolis graduated from Swarthmore College and the New York University
    School of Law. Mr. Margolis has been, since its inception, editor of The ElderLaw Report,
    a monthly newsletter for attorneys which helped define the field more than 20 years ago.
    He has also produced The ElderLaw Portfolio Series, a compilation of in-depth studies on
    significant aspects of elder law. Mr. Margolis’ ElderLaw Forms Manual has been regularly
    consulted by elder law attorneys throughout the United States.
